  • Formerly known as the Crocodile Farming Institute, this center houses and breeds two species of crocodiles—the Philippine crocodile and the saltwater crocodile. It also serves as a sanctuary for rescued animals, particularly those native to Palawan.

Plaza Cuartel

  • This historic square, once an old garrison, is the site of the tragic Palawan Massacre in December 1944, where 150 American prisoners of war were killed by the Japanese. A plaque inside the plaza honors the eleven prisoners who managed to escape.

Binuatan Creations

  • Discover handloom-woven products made from native Palawan grasses and fibers. At this shop, you can watch the weaving process and even try your hand at it.

Mitra’s Ranch

  • Located on a hill in Brgy. Sta. Monica, this property was formerly owned by the late Senator Ramon Mitra. It is now open to the public and offers a scenic viewpoint.

Baker’s Hill

FIREFLY WATCHING
